You necessarily have needs but there is no reason for you to be needy. A Course in Miracles asserts that satisfying your needs is not your job. It is the Holy Spirit’s job. He is the only one who can really satisfy them because He is the only one who truly knows what your real needs are. You do not know. You only think you do. The only true need is the one you have forgotten, namely, your sense of your separation from God.
